Streszczenie: Map of the Polish-Belarussian borderland is the second map with a scale of 1:250 000 mades as a results of the cooperation of Polish and Belarussian geologists. Map from 2011 included the northern part of the common border, this one in 2016 analyzes the southern part. Scientific editors of both papaers are the prof. Leszek Marks and Alexandr Karabanov. Study consist of surface geological map, geological map of the Quaternary bedrock, explanatory text and CD materials in digital form. To make the image of borderland consistent the map sheets of Detailed Geological Map of Polish in a scale of 1:50 000 (12 sheets) were generalized as well as the Geological Map Quaternary sediments 1:200 000, sheet Brest-Włodawa. Digital work were put together with scientific work of traditional character. Topographic maps printed on shaded model was the basis for the consideration of paleogeographical study area, and additional field work ultimately helped assemble a whole to develop and correlate the stratigraphy and extent of the ice sheet Warta stadial. Both maps - Surface and bedrock map and geological cross-section were developed digitally in the ArcGis 9.3.1, and the layers are stored in a personal database.
