Corresponding to this research problem, a research hypothesis is proposed, which suggests that organizations that implement comprehensive crisis management plans invest in regular training and simulations and use modern technologies for risk monitoring and management are more resilient to disruptions and better at maintaining business continuity. Further analyses and research aim to confirm this hypothesis and provide guidance on optimizing crisis management strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness.The study employs a detailed analysis of existing scientific literature, norms, and standards related to crisis management, business continuity planning, and crisis communication. The analysed sources include books and scientific articles aimed at understanding the theoretical foundations of crisis management, as well as identifying best practices and challenges in this field. Findings: Crisis management is a dynamic field that requires continuous development and adaptation to new challenges. Further research and analysis will enable a better understanding of threats and the development of more effective strategies, contributing to increased organizational resilience to crises. Practical Implications: Effective crisis management allows organizations to respond quickly and efficiently in the face of threats, which is crucial for their long-term success and market stability. However, for crisis management to be fully effective, further analyses and studies are necessary to continuously improve strategies and procedures. Particular attention should be paid to the development of technologies that can support crisis management, as well as research on the human aspects of crisis management, such as crisis psychology and organizational culture. Originality/Value: The article presents a comprehensive approach to crisis management, with particular emphasis on crisis planning and response, crisis communication, and business continuity management. Practical implications: The article identified communication tools and technologies used in multigenerational teams during the COVID-19 pandemic and presented an evaluation and analysis of these tools and technologies from the perspective of team members. The findings of the empirical research can be utilized in times of crisis when project teams are exclusively working remotely. The presented results can be used to establish a code of best practices. Findings: The authors formulated the following conclusions: Crisis is inevitable, but its effects can be mitigated. Organisations which are prepared for a crisis have a greater chance of successfully overcoming it. Crisis management is a complex process requiring the commitment of the entire team. Organisations should conduct regular reviews of their crisis plans to ensure that they have not become outdated and their effectiveness has not decreased. Organisations should also carry out crisis training to test their plans and prepare employees for the event of a crisis. Practical implications: Crises may have various intensities and effects. Some may be short lasting and have no significant impact on the working of the organisation. Others may be long-term and lead to serious losses, or even the collapse of a company. In order to minimise the risk of a crisis, organisations should apply the appropriate crisis management strategies. which indicates the necessity to take these into account in the organisation's practices, in plans and action strategies, stressing the creation of various scenarios for future development. Originality/Value: An analysis of the materials gathered proves that crises may become a catalyst for change with regard to generating new solutions in the field of coping with crisis situations in an organisation. The definition of the term Interdisciplinary Team in the medical context is very simple. It is a group of people, specialists in various fields of medicine, dealing with solving a specific problem using the resources at the disposal of each member of such a Team. Polish realities in many cases are far from this concept, which, unfortunately, may result in worse therapy outcomes. Although each of the members of this team may think that his contribution is the most important, it is only the sum of all activities that translates into success, the effect of which is regaining the health lost by the patient, and this success is achieved by not one person but a multi-person team. Currently, it is not possible to provide a patient with only one specialist with the full range of medical services guaranteeing success. Treatment is a complex process involving diagnosticians (imaging diagnostics, laboratory diagnostics), a doctor, physiotherapist, psychologist, dietitian, nurse and many other specialists without whom it is difficult to imagine any treatment activities. The group should be led by a leader, but information on the patient's health should be available to each member of the therapeutic team, and decisions should be made on the basis of joint arrangements, so that none of the team members "pulls in their way" but contributes to mutual success, what a healthy patient is. The following questionnaires were used: proprietary questionnaires for charges, interview questionnaires with educators of educational care centres and family houses, an observation sheet and interviews with coordinators and directors of the examined institutions.
