Charakterystyka formalna: eans a decrease in the dispersion and differentiation of labor productivity over time, and the essence of beta convergence is the faster development of less-developed regions, which results in catching up with the better-developed regions. The economic results of convergence processes, measured by the gross value added of agriculture, forestry, hunting, and fisheries, as well as the number of employed persons in these sectors, were obtained from the Local Data Bank. The distribution dynamics (of the gross value added per person working in a Polish rural sector) were assessed for 2003-2019 as well as for selected years and sub-periods. Statistical methods describing the state of differentiation of regions and the function of regression were used for analysis. The results are presented in figures and maps. The flows between the productivity groups of regions in five sub-periods were evidenced. The research confirmed the partial occurrence of labor productivity convergence in Poland's rural sectors between 2003 and 2014-the period of a sizable flow of European Funds offered to rural areas in Poland, during the first two European Union financial perspectives. In the following years, the convergence process diminished due to different natural and socioeconomic reasons.^alabor productivity^aregion^arural development

Results: The study confirms the sigma convergence of the Gross Value Added per units of funding obtained from the European Union Budget and different level of sigma convergence of GVA / PE in regions. Conclusions: Sigma convergence assessment of the Gross Value Added per person employed in regions shows that in the analyzed period three phases could be distinguished: convergence (2003 - 2008), divergence (2008 - 2010) and stagnation (2010 - 2014).^afundusze europejskie^aEuropean funds^aPrzedmiot i cel pracy: Celem pracy jest ocena zjawiska konwergencji siatach 2003-2014 w powiązaniu z wykorzystaniem funduszy europejskich przeznaczonych na rozwój rolnictwa i obszarów wiejskich. Rozmiary wsparcia z funduszy europejskich porównano z rozmiarem wartości dodanej brutto rolnictwa, leśnictwa, łowiectwa i rybactwa. Materiał i metody: W analizie wykorzystano literaturę problemu oraz dane Agencji Restrukturyzacji i Modernizacji Rolnictwa oraz Banku Danych Lokalnych GUS. Dane empiryczne o poziomie rozwoju rolnictwa w regionach i dane o wykorzystanych środkach z funduszy europejskich użyto do oceny korelacji między nimi oraz zjawiska konwergencji sigma w układzie regionalnym. Wyniki: Przeprowadzona analiza potwierdziła wystąpienie zjawiska korelacji między wartością dodaną brutto na osobę zatrudnioną a wielkością funduszy otrzymanych w regionach z budżetu Unii Europejskiej i zróżnicowany poziom konwergencji sigma w regionie. Convergence occurs in two forms as sigma convergence and beta convergence. Sigma convergence means a decrease in dispersion and differentiation over time, and the essence of beta convergence is faster development of less developed regions or countries, which results in catching up. The aim of the article is to study the convergence of the level of development of the sectors of the rural economy in the regions of Poland between 2003and 2014. The economic results, in the context of the size of funds raised from European funds, measured by the gross value added of agriculture, forestry, hunting and fisheries, were obtained from the Local Data Bank. Data on the value of the funds used were obtained from the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture. Statistical methods describing the state of differentiation of regions and the function of regression were used for the analysis. Konwergencja występuje w dwóch formach jako konwergencja sigma i konwergencja beta. Konwergencja sigma oznacza zmniejszenie z biegiem czasu dyspersji i zróżnicowania, istotą konwergencji beta jest szybszy rozwój regionów czy krajów słabiej rozwiniętych, co skutkuje efektem doganiania. Celem artykułu jest badanie konwergencji poziomu rozwoju sektorów gospodarki wiejskiej w regionach Polski w latach 2003-2014.
