Streszczenie: The aim of the article is to present the problems of crisis management and crisis situation in an organisation, taking into consideration that crisis is an integral part of the functioning of any organisation. Design/Methodology/Approach: Realisation of the goal indicated will help find an answer to the research problem: How does the occurrence of a crisis affect the functioning of an organisation, particularly in a time of chaos and uncertainty? Qualitative methods were applied to obtain an answer to the research question posed. The research made use of the latest report containing statistics concerning crisis and resilience of organisations, an analysis was also conducted based on both domestic and foreign scientific articles from recent years. Findings: The authors formulated the following conclusions: Crisis is inevitable, but its effects can be mitigated. Organisations which are prepared for a crisis have a greater chance of successfully overcoming it. Crisis management is a complex process requiring the commitment of the entire team. Organisations should conduct regular reviews of their crisis plans to ensure that they have not become outdated and their effectiveness has not decreased. Organisations should also carry out crisis training to test their plans and prepare employees for the event of a crisis. Practical implications: Crises may have various intensities and effects. Some may be short lasting and have no significant impact on the working of the organisation. Others may be long-term and lead to serious losses, or even the collapse of a company. In order to minimise the risk of a crisis, organisations should apply the appropriate crisis management strategies. which indicates the necessity to take these into account in the organisation's practices, in plans and action strategies, stressing the creation of various scenarios for future development. Originality/Value: An analysis of the materials gathered proves that crises may become a catalyst for change with regard to generating new solutions in the field of coping with crisis situations in an organisation. Particularly noteworthy are organisations in the energy, technology, media and communications sectors, and in the health industry, due to the experience they have in implementing integrated programmes to increase immunity, which may inspire other organisations to take such decisions.

Streszczenie: Sytuacja kryzysowa postrzegana jest współcześnie, jako niekorzystne zjawisko, które wywołuje negatywne skutki we wszystkich obszarach funkcjonowania. W związku z tym koniecznością jest tworzenie odpowiednich procedur i mechanizmów działania na wypadek jej zaistnienia celem przejęcia nad nią kontroli oraz ograniczenia szkód. Wpływa ona szczególnie na zarządzanie w zakresie bezpieczeństwa organizacji, ponieważ od niego zależy prawidłowy przebieg podjętych przedsięwzięć. Uwzględniając to artykuł na celu przedstawienie konsekwencji jakie wywołuje sytuacja kryzysowa na to zarządzanie. W pierwszej części artykułu autorzy definiują pojęcie sytuacji kryzysowej. Kolejno przedstawiają problematykę zarządzania bezpieczeństwem w organizacji oraz charakteryzują jego system. Następnie ukazują wpływ sytuacji kryzysowej na zarządzanie bezpieczeństwem w organizacji i przedstawią fazy i procesy zarządzania kryzysowego, które pozwolą walczyć z negatywnymi skutkami wpływającymi na prawidłowe funkcjonowanie organizacji.
Streszczenie: The crisis situation is perceived today as an unfavorable phenomenon that has negative effects in all areas of functioning. Therefore, it is necessary to create appropriate procedures and mechanisms of action in the event of its occurrence in order to take control over it and limit damage. It affects in particular management in the field of organization security, because it depends on the correct course of undertaken projects. Taking this article into account, it presents the consequences of the crisis situation on this management. In the first part of the article, the authors define the concept of a crisis situation. Next, they present the problems of security management in the organization and characterize its system. Then they show the impact of the crisis situation on the security management in the organization and present the phases and processes of crisis management, which will allow to fight the negative effects affecting the proper functioning of the organization.

Streszczenie: The article discusses the issue of organization planning and organization in crisis situations. The discussion began with a discussion of the concept of the crisis, and then described the causes of crisis phenomena that might occur in the enterprise. The focus of anti-crisis diagnosis of the company and its surroundings was also highlighted, to show the principles of rational anti-crisis planning. The article also discusses the methodology of anti-crisis management, pointing to its eight elements illustrating the sequence of various operations and their groups in the process of making and executing managerial decisions that will allow the company to exit the crisis. It was noted that effective anticipation of potential emergencies favors using the anticipatory management methodology. It also shows how the implementation of an anti-crisis plan looks like from the actions of the managers taking part in the implementation of the chosen strategy, ending with issues of evaluation and control of its implementation.
