These include the issue of measuring the level of this development and the distinction, or rather a connection between a regional and local development. Regional development does not constitute the sum resulting from the level of development of local systems, whilst the results of research on development in local systems have some direct connections with the level of regional development. One may assume that especially the development of larger cities in the region and the spatial systems linked to them ought to be similar to the development of the entire region.
