However, the main advantage of inanimate nature of this region is Bug River. It is not only border but also a coupler too. In the past it constituted a trade route, nowadays it is an important tourist trial. The Bug is wild river that is protected. In the valley of Bug river are located a lot of springs (in Gnojno and stary bubel), meander scrolls, dunes ("Łysucha" near Janów Podlaski) and outcrops (in mielnik). But the most interesting and the most beautiful are ravines of Bug in mielnik, gnojno and Neple. these natural values are used in tourism. One can find here a large variety of trials, e. g. walking, cycling, horses and canoe trials. This creates the possibility to learn about the multiculturalism and monuments of this region. In Brest - Terespol area two rivers meet with the Bug: on the left side - Krzna and on the right - Muchavec. Such geological conditions could encourage people to build fortresses in Brest and forts in the neighborhood. the biggest advantage of the nature of the Belarussian part of the border area is Bialowieza forest with tourist center in Kamieniuki and trials.^aNitychoruk, Jerzy^cy^apogranicze polsko-białoruskie^awalory turystyczne^awalory przyrodnicze^aBrześć (Białoruś)^aTerespol (woj. lubelskie)
