Streszczenie: W bieżącym roku przypada sześćdziesiąta rocznica opublikowania książki W. Aldersona Marketing Behavior and Executive Action (1957), przełomowego opracowania z punktu widzenia historii i współczesnego kształtu dyscypliny marketingowej. Celem artykułu jest zwrócenie uwagi na to istotne wydarzenie oraz ukazanie znaczenia owej pracy dla nauki o marketingu. W artykule zaprezentowano podbudowę teoretyczną, na której ukształtowana została koncepcja W. Aldersona, osobę jej autora, uznawanego za ojca współczesnej myśli marketingowej, główne tezy książki oraz jej znaczenie z punktu widzenia historii i aktualnego kształtu nauki o marketingu. Szczególny akcent położono na systemowe podejście do marketingu oraz jego rolę z punktu widzenia marketingu holistycznego.
Streszczenie: In the present year the sixty year anniversary of the book Marketing Behavior and Executive Action (1957) by the W. Alderson is being held. The book is considered as a crucial elaboration in the light of history and the current shape of marketing discipline. The purpose of this article is to pay the attention to the essential event which is the book publish together with highflying the importance of the book for the marketing. The article presents the history of theoretical background on which W. Alderson shaped the concept of his book, the author as a father of modern marketing, main book ideas, its importance in the light of history and actual shape of marketing science. The special focus was given to the system approach of marketing and its role from the holistic marketing point of view.

Streszczenie: The karst landscape (KL) is a very specific type of natural terrains. Unlike other types of landscapes developing on the surface of the earth, it contains not only terraneous but also subterranean part (caves systems, channel networks, cavities etc.), which combined together form its two-fold structure. These two parts of the karst landscape are integrated into the entirety by numerous and various interactions between them, which allows considering and studying KL as a two-fold system (karst landscape system). Two aspects of the KL system structure have been analyzed: the vertical, i.e.geo-component structure - individual components of the landscape and vertical interactions between them occurring in the vertical cross section, and the horizontal, i.e.geo-complex structure - complex units (cells) which build the landscape on the lateral plane, together with interactions between them. It has been shown that the two-fold structure of the karst landscape is crucial for its functioning, development and self-regulation. Because of the fact that the subterranean part of the landscape is closely correlated with the terraneous part, the principles of the karst landscape and caves protection should be based on a systemic approach. Two major principles have been considered. The first one says that the preservation of the two-fold geosystem must be complex and all-embracing: we should not preserve a cave pattern without taking care of the surface above it, or conversely: preserve the terraneous karst geocomplex we may not neglecting the cavities beneath it. The second rule (principle) suggests that while determining the lateral (horizontal) boundaries and buffer zone of the geosystem selected for preservation, it is necessary to take into account the extent of the paragenetic and paradynamic connections between the elements-geocomplexes comprising KL.

Streszczenie: Artykuł skupia się na metodologicznych podstawach współczesnej geografii. Zdaniem autora, współczesna geografia przeżywa kryzys tożsamości. Na podstawie koncepcji makroewolucji, autor próbuje ustalić przewodnią id?ę geografii, zidentyfikować przedmiot i podmiot jej badań, promuje geografię jako naukę o charakterze fundamentalnym, rozpatruje ją w kontekście systemologicznym oraz pokazuje jej teoretyczne (naukowe, światopoglądowe) i praktyczne znaczenie.
Streszczenie: The author concentrates on the methodological bases of contemporary geography. According to his point of view, contemporary geography has been experienced an identity crisis. Based on the macroevolutionary conception, the author tries to find out the "comprehensive idea" of geography, identify its object and subject of its research, prove the fundamental character of geography as a science, consider it in the context of other "systemological" sciences and illustrate its theoretical (scientific, in terms of outlook) and practical significance.
