Charakterystyka formalna: anisational culture. The research problem was formulated as follows: Which innovative strategies and practices in the field of protecting personal safety are effective in the management of organisations, particularly in the face of the new threats such as cyberthreats, professional stress, professional burnout and changes in forms of employment? A research hypothesis was formulated in relation to the research problem, which assumes that modern technologies, psychological support programmes and an organisational culture based on inclusivity and trust significantly improve the personal safety of employees in organisations, particularly in the face of new challenges connected with remote working and changing forms of employment. The article applies theoretical methods such as an analysis of the literature on the topic, and a review of reports and research concerning personal safety. It also focuses on areas such as management, workplace psychology and modern technologies which support safety. Findings: The studies involved the authors defining the main problems connected with demonstrating the impact of personal safety on the management of a contemporary organisation. Firstly, the integration of technology as an element ensuring personal safety in organisations is of vital importance. This enables monitoring, the detection of threats and immediate steps aimed at protecting the health and lives of employees. Next, the increasing relevance of mental health is important, particularly countering professional burnout and alleviating stress. It is also important to promote an organisational culture based on inclusivity, trust and open dialogue. Employees who feel respected and supported are more engaged with and loyal to the organisation. The final factor is adaptation to remote working, since changes connected with the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the necessity for organisations to adapt to new forms of work, such as WFH and flexible forms of employment. Organisations must provide the appropriate tools and support to meet these challenges. Practical Implications: The aspects of personal safety mentioned in the article and their impact on the management of a contemporary organisation may be useful in identifying threats, creating innovative strategies and indicating good practices in the field of employee protection. Design/Methodology/Approach: The research aimed to assess the effectiveness of remote work and learning compared to traditional methods. A survey was conducted in 2022 among a group of 499 students from the Warsaw School of Management. The survey included students from all fields of study. The empirical research was pilot in nature and provides a basis for continuing research in this area, drawing conclusions and formulating recommendations for both employers and the academic community. Findings: The generated conclusions will enable a thorough analysis of key problems in the context of improving solutions and practices implemented in remote work and learning processes as key determinants of the growth of human capital effectiveness in contemporary enterprises. Practical implications: The article identifies the actions, threats, and challenges facing employers in the area of utilizing and increasing the effectiveness of human capital, which is a strategic factor of contemporary enterprises, particularly evident in crisis situations that increasingly affect organizations worldwide for various reasons (pandemics, wars, etc.). Originality/Value: The authors present remote work and learning as modern and effective tools for increasing the effectiveness of human capital in contemporary enterprises, requiring many actions and far-reaching changes that bring undeniable benefits in the work environment.

Human capital and innovations form a network of interrelationships and dependencies, and the conducted research and analyses aimed at better recognition of said dependencies allow to formulate and direct further research. The development of human capital and care for its quality as well as the associated increase in innovation of rural areas is the primary goal of EU member states' policies. This can be seen in various newer and newer solutions and implemented projects as well as the number of institutions participating in their implementation. More and more attention is paid to the needs and problems of various social groups in rural areas, e.g. senior farmers, where effective use of the potential of this group is becoming a challenge in the face of an aging population. As part of improving the quality of human capital and the innovativeness of rural areas, not only financial assistance but also widely-developed advice is available.
