Streszczenie: Introduction: Disability does not concern the life of an individual, but it refers to interpersonal relationships, interactions between people with disabilities and the surrounding physical and social environment. The social inclusion of people with disabilities is possible when the barriers that hinder their everyday life are removed. Among them there are negative social attitudes and marginalization of people with disabilities which can become particularly acute. Material and methods: The aim of the research was ascertain nursing students' attitudes towards persons with physical disabilities. The research comprised 7 universities educating in the field of nursing in Poland. In total, 1323 nursing students of undergraduate and graduate studies were surveyed. The research was conducted online in the period from October 2021 to March 2022. The study used the Polish adaptation of the scale used to assess attitudes towards persons with disabilities; namely, the Multidimensional Attitudes Scale Towards Persons with Disabilities (MAS-PL). Results: Globally, the average score obtained by students on the MAS-PL scale was 82.69. The greatest differentiation of responses was shown in the emotions and cognitive subscale, while the smallest one was seen in the behavioural subscale. There was no significant relationship between the results of the MAS-PL scale and gender and the age of respondents. More positive attitudes were declared by graduate students than by undergraduate students. Statistically, there is a significantly higher global score on the scale and subscale of emotions shown by students living in a city with over 100,000 inhabitants compared to students living in the countryside. Conclusions: Place of residence and the level of study are factors related to the attitudes of nursing students towards people with physical disabilities. The attitudes of students majoring in nursing should be shaped during the implementation of the curriculum and the creation of projects enabling mutual relationships between students and persons with disabilities.

Streszczenie: Postawy wobec zdrowia prezentowane w zachowaniach zdrowotnych człowieka ujawniają jego przekonania i nastawienia wobec wielu różnych wartości związanych ze zdrowiem własnym i innych, a co ważne demaskują braki w kompetencjach zdrowotnych. Celem pracy jest prezentacja wybranych z literatury przedmiotu postaw wobec zdrowia, ukazująca ich pozytywne i negatywne strony. Poznanie postaw człowieka wobec zdrowia jest jednym ze sposobów rozumienia i świadomego wyjaśniania konsekwencji zachowań prozdrowotnych i antyzdrowotnych wobec siebie, innych i otoczenia. W pracy przedstawiono różnorodne postawy wobec zdrowia w formie tabelarycznej i opisowej. Wydaje się, że mogą być one wykorzystane do weryfikacji empirycznej postaw wobec zdrowa będących przejawem kompetencji zdrowotnych.
Streszczenie: Attitudes to health presented in health behaviours of men reveal their beliefs and attitudes towards a variety of health-related values towards themselves and others and, what is important, expose lacks in health competencies. The aim of the article is to present some selected attitudes towards health in literature to show their positive and negative sides. Understanding attitudes towards human health is one of the ways of understanding and explaining the consequences of healthy and unhealthy behaviours towards oneself, others and the environment. The paper presents different attitudes towards health in a tabular and narrative form. It seems that they can be used to empirically verify the attitudes towards being healthy as a manifestation of health competency.

Streszczenie: Celem badań było uzyskanie informacji na temat postaw studentów Państwowej Szkoły Wyższej w Białej podlaskiej wobec osób z niepełnosprawnością. Szczegółowe zagadnienia dotyczyły problemów życiowych tych osób, rozumienia terminu "osoba niepełnosprawna", reakcji badanych na widok osoby z niepełnosprawnością, stosunku społeczeństwa do osób niepełnosprawnych oraz akcpetowanego przez studentów modelu życia społecznego niepełnosprawnych. W pracy wykorzystano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego z zastosowaniem ankiety i wywiadu. W badaniach wzięło udział 88 studentów Pedagogiki, Socjologii oraz Turystyki i Rekreacji, w tym 56 kobiet i 32 mężczyzn. Stwierdzono, iż studenci dość dobrze orientują się w problemach życiowych osób z niepełnosprawnością, wykazujua pozytywną postawę wobec nich, lecz niektórzy odczuwają zakłopotanie podczas wspólnych spotkań. Niemal połowa prawidłowo definiuje pojęcie "osoba niepełnosprawna" a najpowazniejszym ograniczeniem jest według wiekszości choroba psychiczna. Znaczny odsetek badanych akcpetuje rozwiązania integracyjne w ramach edukacji szkolnej, choć połowa uznała, że wprowadzenie ich zalezy od stopnia i rodzaju niepełnosprawności.
Streszczenie: The objective of the research was obtaining information regarding attitudes of students at State School of Higher Education in biała Podlaska towards disabled persons. specific issues concerned life related problems of such persons, understanding the therm "disabled person", the reaction of the researched to seeing a disabled person, the relationship of society to the disabled and the accepted by student model of sicla life of the disabled persons. The method of diagnostic survey with the application of questionnaire and interview has been used for the purpose of this study. The research involved 88 students of Education Studeis, Social Studies and Tourism and Recreation, including 56 female and 32 male students. It was discovered that the students are quite familiar with the life problems of the disabled persons, indicate positive attitude towards others, however, some of them experience awardness upon meeting them. Almost half of students correctly define the concept of a "disabled person" and the most significant constraint according to the majority is mental disease. Large number of the researched accepts integration-targeted solutions in the framework of school education, although half of them indicated that their implementation is dependent on the degree and type of disability.
